On June 27, a delegation from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) visited our Energy Smart Home Lab. The delegation was warmly welcomed and the representatives were given a detailed introduction to the innovative technologies and research projects being developed in our Energy Smart Home Lab.

They were particularly impressed by the advanced energy management systems that can help to optimize energy consumption in households and create incentives for residents to save costs through potential electricity tariff designs. During the tour, the delegation members had the opportunity to see our intelligent energy storage solutions and networked household appliances in action.

Afterwards, possible collaborations and funding opportunities were discussed in order to drive research and development forward. The visit underlined the importance of the Energy Smart Home Lab as a research environment for sustainable energy solutions and promoted the exchange between science and politics.
